Mykonos

Mykonos / Cycladic Islands

There is Greece, and there is Mykonos: the undisputed epicenter of the international jet-set in the Eastern Mediterranean, a tiny island in the Cycladic island complex in the midst of the Aegean Sea, but with a lasting reputation all around the globe! Mykonos is an island of contradictions: on the one hand, white-washed houses against a dry, rocky landscape; idyllic locations and sandy beaches with the blue seas as a backdrop, while on the other hand endless partying at the beaches and in the narrow streets of Mykonos town, posh entertainment that is second to none, and a crowd from all walks of life, from celebrities to the LGBT community, all crying out passionately for fun and lust!

Mykonos has it all: daytime opportunities for being pampered in your lounge-chair at a beach, restaurants that take a culinary experience to an altogether different level, bars and clubs where the night turns into day and the parties continue into the early hours, opportunities to ‘shop until you drop’, and the list goes on and on…

Mykonos can be reached both by plane and ferry. During the summer season, there are frequent domestic flights from Athens (flight time 25 minutes), but more importantly international flights from all over Europe and the Middle east. Regular ferry services connect Mykonos with the port of Rafina on the mainland, as well as the port of Athens, Piraeus. Ferry services also run between Mykonos, and neighboring islands cycladic islands and beyond.
